Kia Hybrid Battery Recovery Service in Florida
What Is It?
The Kia Hybrid Battery Recovery Service is a diagnostic and electronic restoration process designed to recover the functional capacity of high-voltage hybrid batteries that have lost charge, exhibit rapid discharge, or show imbalance between cells, without requiring replacement of damaged components.
How It Works
Phase 1: Technical Inspection (48 hours)
- Complete electronic scan of the battery
- Individual voltage measurement in each cell
- Analysis of fault codes
- Photographic documentation of initial condition
- Technical report on recoverability
Phase 2: Recovery Process (3β4 business days)
- Controlled and supervised charging
- Continuous monitoring of temperature and voltages
- Balancing process that equalizes voltages across all cells
- General cleaning of connectors and terminals
- Physical verification of component integrity
- Final confirmation scan
Phase 3: Technical Report and Delivery
- Detailed comparative technical report (before and after)
- Complete measurement and verification data
- Restored battery ready for installation
- Instructions for installer technician
Final Result
β
Battery restored to technical specification

Technical Service Assurance and Limitations
We stand behind the professional execution of the chemical recovery and cell-balancing process. The battery leaves our laboratory with its cells optimized according to the final testing performed at the end of the service.
However, we cannot guarantee how long the battery will maintain its charge once installed in a vehicle. Cell unbalancing is often a symptom of an underlying vehicle condition, not the root cause. If the condition that caused the original failure remains unresolved, the vehicle may discharge or unbalance the battery again.
At delivery, we provide a technical report and a video documenting the battery's charge and balance on our workbench. These materials document the battery's condition when it leaves our facility. They do not guarantee vehicle-level performance or future charge durability after installation.
Before reinstalling the battery, a qualified technician must diagnose and correct any external vehicle conditions, including:
- A clean and properly functioning battery ventilation and cooling system
- Weak 12V auxiliary battery
- Defective DC/DC converter
- Damaged, corroded, or sulfated wiring or connections
- Internal combustion engine faults
- Errors in the hybrid system computer (BMS/ECU)
Important Consideration
The Kia Hybrid Battery Recovery Service restores the battery. It does not correct external vehicle faults.
Any post-installation issue must be diagnosed vehicularly, as it may be caused by:
- Weak 12V auxiliary battery
- Defective DC/DC converter
- Defective connections or wiring
- Gas engine failing to start
- Vehicle BMS/ECU failure
