If the Battery Cannot Be Repaired

If the battery cannot be repaired or recovered, you pay only the Inspection and Diagnostic Assessment ($150). We will deliver a complete written report detailing the findings and the reasons why repair is not viable.

Important Consideration

The Kia Hybrid Battery Repair Service addresses internal battery faults and replaces failed components. It does not resolve issues originating outside the battery pack.

Any symptom that persists after reinstallation must be diagnosed at the vehicle level, as the root cause may be:

A weak or failing 12V auxiliary battery
A defective DC/DC converter
Damaged wiring or loose connections
A gas engine that fails to start
A vehicle BMS or ECU malfunction
